Peighton Sowder '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at age 5.  What started as a recreational sport quickly developed into a strong passion.  I began playing for Central Kentucky Storm at age 9.  As an attacking mid, my dominant foot is right but my left foot is just as strong.   I have a strong work ethic and commitment to the game as well as my team.  My natural quickness and foot work allow me to challenge players with a significant size advantage in the midfield.

My work ethic and commitment doesn't end on the pitch.  I have an equal passion for academics and being a superior student athlete.  My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in sports medicine or a similar field.  I will work towards obtaining the highest GPA and ACT score possible to allow me to apply for all academic scholarships available to me.
