I grew up playing soccer in the Des Moines, Iowa area until I moved to Emmetsburg at the age of 10 and continued my soccer career playing for Spencer. I joined the club team (Northwest Iowa Soccer Club) in 5th grade, as well as the recreational teams they offered. I've been playing on the club team for the past 5 years. In the spring I play for Spencer High School. In the summertime I practice with the club team several days a week, participate in weekend tournaments and have played in the USA Cup in Blaine, Minnesota for the past 5 years.
My collegiate goal is to gain my Bachelor's degree in science or psychology and then go on to get my Master's. Another goal is to play soccer throughout my college career. I'm a good candidate for your team because I am a natural born leader when I set onto the pitch, get along well with others, and always try my best. I'd say I'm different from other recruits because I always work very hard to achieve my goals, I'm a team player on the field and in the classroom, I am a very determined individual, and always have a great attitude.
