Personal Statement

My soccer goal is to be an impact player at the collegiate level.   I want to use my athletic and academic abilities to earn a scholarship and attend a leading university, within a reasonable distance from home.  I have played for a number of club teams including the top team at Sporting Omaha FC at my age.  I was fortunate enough to be able to start almost every high school varsity game since my freshman year.

On the field, I pride myself on having excellent foot skills and the ability to distribute the ball extremely well.  Not only am I fast on the field, but with my work at the Innovative Strength and Conditioning I hope to continue to increase my speed and strength as I develop as a player.  I can also dribble, pass, and shoot equally well with both feet.  I every situation on the field, I strive to do my best.  Leadership roles have followed me on and off the field my entire life; I have been elected captain on a number of teams, and was nominated to the Leadership academy from the teachers at my school.  I strive to do my best no matter the situation.   These are the qualities that I will bring to the collegiate level.

As a student, I’ve made the All A honor roll all quarters.  My aspirations are to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine, Coaching or Physical Therapy, fields which include working with high level athletes.

I work hard to push my teammates to be better and in turn become better myself everyday.   I was fortunate enough to help my team to reach the state tournament in 2016, my sophomore year,  a feat which has only be accomplished twice in school history.  My freshmen year we missed our chance in a double overtime shootout.   I hope to someday use my skills and attributes to assist my collegiate team to a championship.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
