Personal Statement
I started playing soccer when I was six, and it is the only sport I have played ever since, by choice. I started off playing on co-ed teams then began competing on all girl travel teams. I was born and raised into a military family, being a military child I was given the chance that only some kids get, being able to meet, learn, and grow from different coaches and teachers that have learned multiple techniques throughout their own lives. Living here in Germany I know that I have learned so much more then if I had stayed in the states my whole life. I can see myself everyday becoming a better, smarter, and more talented soccer player. I try and train as much as I can during off season, and then once that moment of tryouts come, I show everything I have to my coaches, and I give it my all. As a Freshmen in High School i made the junior varsity team, and then as a sophomore I rose as a Varsity player. My Junior year I played on the Varsity team as well, playing along with my team mates as we kept a winning streak among other DOD schools and took first place in the 2014 Europeans against all the D1 schools in Europe. As a young child starting out playing goalie and then soon found my place as a forward, and that is where i've stayed ever since and my coaches feel that is the best place for me to be. I have that passion and inner drive in me to want to score and to win. Currently I am playing on a German team to hopefully better myself and to keep my body in shape as well while waiting for the upcoming season to begin. I will continue trying my hardest to learn and to grow so i can hopefully prove myself to college coaches, so that maybe one day I can have a future doing what I love.
