Personal Statement
To begin, I've been playing soccer since I was around 6 or 7 way back in Japan. But it was mainly an excuse to be with friends until I moved to Germany when I turned 11. I played on a CYS team in the fall that really helped prove that I had some soccer skills in me. I could make plays, score, I felt more like a part of the team. Over the years, I greatly improved which helped me join my school team and walk onto my German team.
Along with all this soccer, I try and keep my academics up. I like to challenge myself athletically, and also mentally. Living with parents that are also teachers means I need to have to maintain some of best grades possible, and it means that I have to go to school almost every single day, whether I like it or not.
Also, I am an American Citizen, I go to a DoDEA school overseas in Europe called Kaiserslautern American High School. I go to a school on base in Germany with military children.
I'm open to any opportunities available, and I hope to be both athletically and mentally challenged in any school. Thank you! :)
