Taylor McAnnally '11 Recruiting Profile

I don't know my exact speed but on my soccer team I was the 3rd fastest sprinter and I am the first person to finish the cross country course. My best time running the cc course was 6 mins and 11 secs. As a defender my junior year, i scored 2 goals. One off of a corner kick, I headed it in the goal. The other I dribble from left back all the way down the field to score. My senior year I scored 3 or 4 goals, including the first goal of the season. I have had many assists, especially this year. I have the best foot skill level on my team. I have played soccer for 10 years including my club teams, middle school team, and high school team. My junior year I was voted Team Captain by my team mates and I was awarded PAC all conference honorable mention. I was 3 votes shy of the team. Also my junior year I won team spirit award. My senior year I was awarded MVP and was also Team Captain again. I am always working the hardest that my mind will let me. I never give up until I succeed. I've always wanted to play soccer in college, it truly is my passion, it's a sport that I can just release everything and be myself and just play my heart out. I will give any school a try!! I am currently enrolled with Spalding University in Louisville Ky, but I am considering changing my major to Pre-Vet and therefore I'm looking at a couplse specific schools I feel has a strong vet program.   I am looking forward to receiving as many scholarships as I can!. My athletic goals are definitely to play as a freshman , which I have.  I played in every single gave, as a starter and played almost the entire game.  I don't know if a Division I or 2 school can contact my current coach, but I'm sure if you did, he'd have only good things to say about my abilities.  if given the chance, and to bring everything I offer to the table. I'm willing to work my butt off and play my hardest in every game and practice. On and off the field. I just know that if I get a chance to play in college, the college won't regret it.
