Hello,
My name is Olivia Annee. I am a junior at Perry Meridian High School in Indinanapolis Indiana. I am about 5'5, and 135 lbs. I am looking to play college soccer at a competitive level!
I have started and played all three years on varsity as the leading scorer each year. I have broken many records including; most goals as a freshman, leading scorer, most points as a freshman, leading in points, leading scorer as a sophomore, leading in points as a sophomore, tied for most assists in a season as a sophomore, leading scorer as a junior, most points as a junior, most career goals as a junior, and most career points as a junior. I am the team captain. My freshman year I was 1st team All Conference, 1st team All County, 3rd team All District, and Newcomer of the year. My sophomore year, I made 1st team All Conference, 1st team All County, 2nd team All District, 3rd team All State, and MVP. Junior year, I was 1st team All Conference, 1st team All County, 1st team All District, Academic All State, MVP, and All State.
Soccer is not just a game to me. It is my life. I spend almost every moment of my free time with a soccer ball either at practice, at a training session, in my backyard, at a game, or even at school with my friends. Playing soccer in college at a competitive level has been my life long dream. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old! Soccer never gets old to me. I love the challenge of trying to improve everyday. I am extremely competitive! I do NOT like to lose!
Before each game, I take time to look at each goal, and I close my eyes and picture myself scoring from every angle of the goal. I picture runs that my teammates will be making, I picture me pushing myself the entire 80 minutes and not giving up. I know that when I step on the field, the game is broken up into one v. ones. Every ball I get, I want to win. Every person I go against, I want to beat. Every shot I take, I want to score. If I don't, then I am determined to do it the next time I get the ball. This is my breakdown of the game. I see it as, if every day, you take 1000 touches more than everyone else, that's 7000 a week... which accumulates and contributes to my success as an athlete. College sports are for determined athletes who are not only physically strong, but mentally strong.
My strengths on the field include my aggressiveness, my winning attitude, my moves, passing, shooting, and communication. I play club soccer at SFSC Elite. I am on the SFSC Fusion. Last year we finished at 2nd in the state behind Carmel United (who we beat during the season). We won Presidents Cup, and many other big tournaments. I am the team Captain on my club team, even though I am one of the two juniors on the team. Being a leader on and off the field is one of my strengths. I love being the one that others look up to as a role model. I do my best at everything I do, not because I have to, but because I want to. I push myself to full potential on the field, in the classroom, in the weightroom, in my faith, and in every aspect of my life.
Academically, I am in the top 15% of my class. I am involved in many clubs, the main ones being; Ambassador Corps, National Honors Society, FCA (Falcon Christians), Student Voice Council, School Promotions, Falcon TV, Link Leader Crew, Blue Spirit Crew, Safe Driving, and Fit Club. I also run track, play basketball, and participate in lots of community service. I work two jobs as "on call," and I volunteer at the local Dog Shelter, and in camps over the summer as a counselor. One of the camps I volunteer at is Vacation Bible School, and another is MDA (Muscular Dystrophy / Special Education). Throughout my high school career, my GPA has ranged from a 3.6-3.8. I take many Honors Classes and AP Classes.
I am open to pretty much any colleges. I would prefer a bigger school that is co-ed. I'm not too picky! My goal is to take my skills, and desires to the next level and contribute to the success of a college team. I want to give my leadership, dedication, determination, responsibility, organization, maturity, hard-work, never-giving-up, and positive attitude to a coach who will make me the best athlete that I can be and appreciate my hard work. I am looking for a great school with awesome teammates that I can bond with and experience the dream of playing college soccer.
