“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all love of what your are doing or learning to do.” -Pele
I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old, so it has always been a big part of my life. Even throughout playing other sports, soccer has always been where my heart is. These past few years playing in high school and club, has been some of the best years yet. When I think of my future I can’t imagine not having soccer in my life. It is been extremely important to me to play in college and continue my soccer career at a high level. As I said, this sport has been a huge part in my life, I’ve grown not only as a player, but also as a person.
As for school, I’m leaning towards medical studies, such as, physical therapy, nursing, or something along those lines. At Avon High School I’m taking our 4 class program called PLTW (project lead the way) and I’m also in our club, HOSA (Future Health Career Professional), which has all helped lead me in that direction.
Personally high school hasn’t been easy in any aspect, but it isn’t for most people anyway. I’m sure college or getting out into the world won’t be easier, but I am prepared to keep working hard to accomplish my goals. One part of my life that helps me to stay positive is God. I went to a Catholic school called, St. Susanna, K-8th grade and I was confirmed in 2015. High school was really different for me by changing environments and has taken me away from my roots, but these tough experiences have guided me back to who I am. I have a new positivity and excitement for college. I’m driven to get what I want and find that perfect fit for me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to be speaking to you soon.
