My name is Samantha Hlavac, I attend Plainfield South High School, graduating with the class of 2015, where I play on the Varsity soccer team as well as participate in Math Team and Scholastic Bowl. I have a 5.9 GPA, I'm in the top 1% of my class and I take all Honors and AP classes. I have played club soccer since I was 9 years old, the past five seasons with Galaxy Soccer Club in Naperville, IL. We usually attend 4-5 tournaments and showcases per year.
My goals for the future include going a great college where I can study math, science, and possibly engineering. I love soccer and would love to play at the collegiate level. I am a very hard worker and always expect 110% from myself and those around me, on the field and in the classroom. I have always been told I'm very coachable. I won the Coaches' Award for Most Improved Player this spring and I will continue to work to be the best keeper I can be. I believe my strengths as a goalkeeper are coming out on breakaways and thru balls and diving. I would like to attend a college where I can balance my education and play at the highest level of soccer I am capable of. I would love to help my team to be more successful each year that I am there.
