Morgan Farrington '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Morgan Farrington and I am currently a senior, graduating in 2017, in Boise Idaho! I am wanting to fulfill my dreams of playing collegiate soccer. I am a team captain for my club team and have been for 3 years now. I am a team leader and always want what is best for my team. With the help of my teammates, I have made it the state finals 2 years. I was a finalist one year and the next year my team ended up winning. I played center back that whole tournament and season, which was odd for me since I was always put up top by my coaches. It was definitely a learning experience for me, but I wouldn't of traded it for anything else. Because of that experience I am able to play anywhere on the field, I have experience up top as center forward, outside midfielder, attacking midfielder, center back, and I have also had some minutes in the outside back position. All of these positions requires a different mind set, and I can successfully say I know how to play every single one of these positions. I have also had the privilege of making it to the district finals two years in a row for my JV high school soccer team. For my varsity we also made it the district finals my junior year, and the state finals, my senior year,  where we unfortunately took second place in PKs. Off the field, I am a member of NHS (National Honor Society) for my high school and have been since I was invited my sophomore year. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.8 and have taken multiple honors classes involving math, English, history and sports medicine through out high school. In the end, all I thrive for in the game of soccer is to be a team player and always be there for my teammates and friends all around me.
