My name is Sandy Carter and I am an upcoming senior at Washington County High School in Georgia. I am very passionate about sports, soccer being my favorite. I have been playing soccer for seven years. I also have played softball and ran track while in high school. My primary position in soccer is center back. While playing softball, my primary starting position is catcher and my secondary position is center field. I am a strong leader on and off the fields of soccer and softball. I have won the "Golden Hawk Award", the "Best Defense Award" and the "MVP Award" for soccer. I have received first team all region for my past 3 years of varsity soccer. I have also won the "Coaches Award" two years in a row for varsity softball. My goal is to get a scholarship for soccer at a four year school. I want to get a degree in Physical Therapy and work in the field of medicine. I am a team player and willing to go the extra mile to benefit my team as well as myself. I am very determined, yet coach-able as well. I am aware there is always room for improvement in all areas, both on and off the field. I am a straight A student with a grade point average of 4.0. I am involved in many clubs in my high school. I enjoy working with special needs children and have volunteered in many activities offered in our community. I also enjoy going on mission trips to work with less fortunate children.
