Personal Statement

Soccer allows me to have wonderful experiences and I would like to play at the collegiate level. I hope to find a college that leads me to my academic and athletic goals. My GPA is 3.7 which includes Honors and AP classes. I play for Greenbrier High School and Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club. Last school year, I was a starting forward for our 5A Final Four team, the highest our school has ever finished. We won the Region-2A Title and I received All-Region Honorable Mention for my performance. As a Freshman, I started on the JV team and was the school’s leading scorer. My current Arsenal U-17 team was promoted to Southern Region Premier League-1st Division for the 2015 Fall season. Last season my team competed in Georgia’s Athena A bracket. Prior to joining this team, I played for our club’s second team and finished with an undefeated season. My field vision helps me be a great team player, my speed is deceiving and I’m persistent at fighting for the ball. We are a soccer family and try to attend college, professional, USWNT/USMNT games whenever we can. I enjoy watching game films to see where I can improve. I also volunteer at my travel club where I help with the younger players and help during soccer events.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
