Amber Evans '12 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the game of soccer since I was five years old. I have played on numerous club teams and  varsity girls soccer team for my school. However my greatest accomplishment was being selected to play on the Cayman Islands Girls National Soccer Team. I played on this team for roughly 2 years. I was also elected captain of two of the club teams that I played for. This year, I was elected captain for the varsity girls soccer team for my high school. Being a captain also entails a lot of responsibility. You're the person that the players look up to the most. I'm always encouraging my team to do their best and to hold their heads up even if we're losing. 
      If I had a choice, I would choose to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. It offers a great program for criminal justice studies which is what I'm hoping to major in. It is also close to where I live, the Cayman Islands. I would preferably like to attend one of the smaller schools because there would be smaller classes which means less distractions and more attention from the professor. It would be ideal to get a scholarship from a college, any financial help would be very beneficial due to the cost to attend college. My goals as an athlete would be to play soccer every year that I attend college. I would prefer to play at a mid competition level.
