My name is Haley Rizzo. I am a Sophomore at Timber Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. I completed Honors English, Honors World History, as well as Honors Biology during my Freshman year and am currently enrolled in 4 honors courses as well as AP Psychology. I work hard to excel in school and maintain good grades. I started my Freshman soccer season on the Junior Varsity team and was moved up to Varsity for the last five games as well as the playoffs for the 2016-17 season. I am now a starter on the Varsity team for for the 2017-18 season. In addition, I play club soccer for the Florida Kraze Krush on the 2002 Black team. My coaches all agree that I am a coachable player and give 100% during training as well as in every match. I would be an asset for a college team because I am a team first player, a good listener and a technically sound player. I possess good field vision which allows me to impact a game and make the players around me better. I am a team leader and respect the game. I take pride in being loyal, making responsible decisions, and being respectful in school as well as the soccer field. My goals as a college student/athlete include contributing to the team and being a team leader. In addition to excelling on the soccer field, I want to be successful in the classroom pursuing a degree in Athletic Training/Exercise Science. My passion, dedication and focus will allow me to meet and exceed these goals on and off the field.
Timber Creek High School Varsity is ranked 15th in Class 5A. We compete for the FHSAA State Championship annually. My club team- Florida Kraze Krush '02 Black participates in multiple tournaments throughout the year including the Disney Qualifier, Showcase and Memorial Day, CASL, Club Director's League (CDL) and the Jefferson Cup. We will also be playing in the Alliance Cup which is sponsored by GPS and FKK. Our league play is the NPL- National Premier League and we are registered to play in the Florida State Cup through FYSA. In addition, I have recently been added to the Florida ODP Pool and will be participating in multiple trainings in December 2017, January and February 2018. I will hopefully be selected for the Region III camps held in summer 2018. The competition level of my high school and club teams as well as the ODP Pool allows me to play against the best competition and preparing me for the collegiate level.
