Personal Statement

My name is Lindsey Pinder. I attend Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida. I am currently a Senior and will graduate in May 2015. I have a 4.0/4.0 GPA and a 4.4/5.0 weighted GPA. I am 5'7" and weigh 135 pounds. I have been playing soccer since the age of 4. I have been a 4 year starter for my high school team where I have played Forward, Midfield and Defense. I have been a team captain for 2 years. We have won Districts and Regionals my first three years. We have been to the Final 4 three years in a row winning the 2A State Championship in 2013 and winning 2nd place in 2014. I played for the Ocala Lightning for the past 4 years and we were ranked in the top 5 in the state of Florida. I am now playing for the Orlando City 96/97G Purple were I play Forward and Outside Midfield. I influence my team with my hard work, dedicated attitude and strong leadership skills. I have a desire to pursue Biology and/or Pre-Vet Medicine as a major in college. I would like to attend a school that will provide me the opportunity to continue to grow in the classroom and as a player on the soccer team.
