My name is Elise McAlpin and I have always aspired to play soccer at a collegiate level where I can reach my fullest potential and where I can have a positive impact on my teammates and coaches. My collegiate goals don’t only include my ability to play soccer, but also in academics. I hope to excel in the classroom as well as on the field. I believe that athletics and education go hand in hand, and that is why I am called a student athlete. As a student athlete I am good at managing my time while participating in varsity soccer, extracurricular activities, and being a teachers' assistant in religious education and assistant soccer coach for a soccer summer camp. Being able to play on my varsity soccer team in high school has taught me to be more focused, disciplined, and responsible. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a good team player and a leader both on and off the field. I know what it takes in order to succeed and I motivate and encourage my team members to do their best and never give up. I am different from other recruits because I am very competitive, desire to be great, and my passion for the game drives me to exceed. I am a versatile athlete with excellent hand-eye coordination. I have quick footwork and I am not afraid to go outside of my comfort zone. I have very good knowledge about the game and my instincts are exceptional which allow me to be at right place at the right time. I am a good candidate for your team because I am always willing to try new things in order to succeed and I possess a combination of skills and experience that makes me stand out from the rest of the recruits.
