I love the game of soccer, and being part of a team where each day on the field is different, fun and competitive. While playing with a team I am able to gain support as well as give support to my teammates. The game, my teammates and my coach are constantly pushing me to do my best. I understand that soccer is a strategic game, and mistakes will always be made. My dad always tells me that "soccer is a game of mistakes. If it wasn't, the score would be 1000 to 999." I am always willing to gain constructive criticism as well as improve in all aspects of the game. Although my position right now is a forward I am willing to try new positions in order to better benefit the team and to gain more experience and knowledge of the game. I am a very motivated and driven player and most often I always choose to stay after practice and train or train on off days. My easy going, friendly nature has allowed me to make great relationships with all of my teammates and coaches as well as teachers and staff, and my friends too. I hold my coaches in high regard and have great respect for authority. On and off the field I am very level headed and maintain a high level of integrity and respect. As well as having a high passion for soccer, I am also focused very strongly on academics. I carry a 3.6 GPA while taking advanced courses, including Honors and AP classes. This allows me to gain skills such as time management and the discipline for long hours of studying. My mom describes me as tenacious and determined. I believe I am! I work hard and apply that concept to each and every day. In closing, I am proud of myself and what I have accomplished, but I also realize that I will always be able to improve, and will always strive to do my best. I am very thankful for the opportunities I have been given and for the support of everyone around me.
