Casey Avello '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Casey Avello! I am 17 years old and I am a junior at Wilmington Christian High School in Hockessin, DE. I am a person of strong faith and I am a dedicated student. I plan to major in Athletic Training/Exercise Sciences and I have an interest in Physical Therapy as well. Although soccer is my passion, I've grown to love the sport field hockey as well. 

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy playing attacking midfield. I am more dominant with my right foot, but have the ability to utilize my left foot. I am frequently relied upon to serve the ball from set plays. As a midfield player, I consistently distribute the ball to my teammates and I help to facilitate time of possession. I am dedicated to my overall fitness and skill development. I consistently strive to improve my game each and every day. 

I have a strong desire to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level with a program that fits me as a student and an athlete. I am looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing the next chapter of my life.
