Raven Bernier '17 Recruiting Profile

Upon completion of my 2 year attendance at Otero Junior College, I still plan to play soccer while completing my education at a University that offers my major.   I have always dreamed of playing on a college level soccer team.  With my background in the sport and my determination to accomplish my goals, I believe that dream is possible. 

I have a positive attitude and strong work ethic in both academics and athletics.  I am a very coachable athlete and do my best to learn quickly and apply what I learn.  I take practices seriously and feel that nutrition and conditioning are key to being a healthy athlete.  I enjoy being a part of a team and working together to be successful.  I am a versatile player and am able to play multiple positions successfully. I am right foot dominant but am strong with my left foot as well. 

During my High School years, I was a 4-year letterman in soccer.  In 9th & 10th I played forward and 11th & 12th I played goalie.  I was also on the Varsity track team and JV basketball team. I participated in FCCLA,  Athletic Training, Link Crew and Student Council.   I also played club soccer for Colorado Storm South Premier-Division I team (Forward). 

Currently, I am a starting field player for Otero Junior College.  I play Outside Mid and Forward.
