Hi, my name is Tanner McCann. I am a dominant player in left mid and forward, but also can play other positions on the field if needed. I know myself on the field as a hardworking and very determined player. I feel I know the field well and have a very good outlook. I have been told, years in a row by several coaches, that I have the fire/grit that they like to see on the field. This, they say, motivates others to play better and try harder. I believe this is why I am usually a leading role model on teams and/or the captain. I like to inspire people to play better and, in turn, I always hold myself to a higher standard to be the best I can be. My ball handling has improved drastically in the past few years as I was encouraged to pick up this aspect of my game. I may not always begin as the strongest person on some teams, but I take instruction seriously and have a very focused drive to succeed and improve. I think some of my stronger abilities as a player include, speed, intensity, field awareness, corners and a positive team attitude. I think soccer is a fun sport and I enjoy the game and the people I am privileged to call teammates.
