Emily Mueller '16 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college that can offer me the unique combination of both a top-level soccer program and a high academic standard. I have been playing soccer for 12 years and have always pushed myself to get better. I enjoy playing competitive soccer because I like the camaraderie of a team, the challenge, and the hard competition. While playing both club and varsity as a starter, I have learned to balance athletics with academics. I want to pursue nursing or pharmacy which I know will be a challenge while playing soccer. However, I believe my high school academic record that has been achieved while playing varsity soccer (since my Freshman year) and club soccer demonstrate that I have the discipline, ability, and drive to achieve these goals.
Since I have started and played almost the entirety of every club and high school varsity game (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior) to date, I believe that I have the experience and stamina to play successfully at the collegiate level.
