My name is Bryn Anderson. I am 17 years old and last season played for the U17 Nevada Pride in Reno, Nevada. For the upcoming season, I will be playing for the top Northern Nevada team, the U18 Lady Nomads. My high school team is North Tahoe High in Lake Tahoe, CA where after my sophomore season I was named to the Nevada Division III second team All-State and after my junior season was named to the first team All-State. After my senior season, in addition to earning first team all-state honors, I was named the Nevada State Division 3 Co-offensive Most Valuable Player. My primary position is forward but I also play in an offensive midfielder position. Even though I’ve always been an all-around athlete (competing seriously in mogul skiing, nordic skiing, mountain biking, swimming, and triathlon), soccer has been my passion since I was 4 years old. I have had the goal to compete in college for as long as I can remember. I have always been a good goal scorer (I scored 38 goals with 21 assists my senior season in high school), but I feel that it’s my unselfishness and team play that are some of my biggest assets. Physically, I’m quick, fast, have good ball control skills, and am an accurate and smart passer. I’m left-footed (but right handed). Most importantly, I am a competitor. I always compete fairly and with respect to my opponents, but I never give up and I hate to lose. Beyond soccer, I dream of pursuing the sciences, either marine biology or environmental science, eventually attending graduate school and making a difference in the world.
