My name is Brooke Oleson, graduation year 2018. I am a Sophomore at Salinas High School. The Club team I play for is the Santa Cruz Breakers 99g. jersey #16. I am a fast and feisty Forward. I also play attacking Mid. I always work hard on the field and in the classroom.
Some of my accomplishments this past year include, finishing my Freshman year with a GPA of 4.048 and making the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region IV ODP team (birth year 2000) I also made the Varsity Track team, I broke the school record for the women's 400m race(the 1st woman to break 60 sec.), and I won the award for Most Valuable Runner. I was also 7th in leading scorers in NorCal National Premier League 2015 Spring League for my age group.
When I'm not in school or playing soccer I volunteer with my high school Interact club. I'm an officer and we do community projects like feeding the homeless and tutoring youth. My brother and I also organized a soccer equipment drive for the people of Haiti.
My goal is to find a college that I can succeed in my chosen field of study and also play Women's soccer! I follow coaches directions well and I come with speed, tenacity and a great personality!
