Elise Stroot '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elise Stroot and I am a 5'9 Defender for the San Diego Surf Soccer Club's GU16 ECNL team Coached by Ada Greenwood. The team recently won the Surf College Cup GU16 Division. I attend Santa Margarita Catholic HS in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, and play on the school's Varsity D1 Trinity League Championship team. I currently have a 3.6 GPA.

My goal is to play for a University that has a high academic standard and a soccer team that steps up to thtat standard.  I have been Coached for the last two season's by a D1 College Coach, so I understand the demands and training that a College Coach would expect from me. I also attend a HS where there is also the same demand on Academics to prepare us well for performing well in the classroom.  I am looking to travel outside of California to get the opportunity to live in a different part of the US and I am very interested in a Ivy League School. Playing on an ECNL team has given me the opportunity to visit many Universities in the Midwest and South that I would  also be very excited to attend.
