Tina Sanchez '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior(class of 2014) at Rancho Cucamonga High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  I am a third year varsity soccer player and formerly retired varsity cross country runner(ran for the first two years of high school).  Outside of high school I play on the U19 girls Bercelona FC Premier team.  I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and got into the club level at 10 years old.  I am a dedicated soccer player who will give it my all on the field and will never give up.  I love being on the field and I love the intensity of the game.  I love representing the teams I play for and doing all that I can to make a difference on the field.  I have been told by past coaches that I am a leader and that I know how to read the field.  The fact that I love soccer leads me to continue to work hard and become a better player after every game and practice.  I play a variety of positions: defender, outside midfielder, and even forward.  Wherever a coach needs me, I will play there and work my hardest.

I am open to all different types of schools in any area.  My goal and dream is to be able to play soccer at the college level.  The main thing I am looking for in a school is where academics and athletics are balanced.  I am a 3.0+ student and have received a total score of 1580 on my SAT.  I will be retaking it in November of 2013.  I am as much dedicated in the classroom as I am on the field.  I am looking to major in either Psychology, or Sports Medicine/Athletic Training but, I am also keeping an open mind.
