I love everything about soccer whether it is training or competing. I have great endurance and always play the entire game. Motivating my team and providing leadership and direction to members of my team is very important to me. Having a solid bond with my teammates and ensuring that everyone is included and supported is one of my goals as captain. My teammates are like family to me. For the past four years as the captain of my club and school teams it has been my responsibility to keep the family tight, focused and positive. For the first ten years of my life I lived in Ottawa, Ontario where I played my soccer season in the summer and trained the other ten months of the year indoors. When I moved to Victoria, British Columbia and discovered that I would be able to play outside all year round I thought I was in heaven. There is nothing better than playing soccer in the rain and mud. It has always been my dream to play soccer at the college level. I see change as a challenge and an adventure. I am open to any size university or college. Every geographic region of the USA has different opportunities to offer and I know I would benefit from either an urban, suburban or rural setting. I think I am a flexible and adaptable person who will succeed in any learning environment and competitive soccer setting. In addition to playing collegiate level soccer I aspire to study Education and earn my teaching degree. I love a challenge and I am focused on pursuing my dream to play soccer at the highest level possible. Studying and playing soccer at the collegiate level would be an amazing accomplishment. I would like to be a team leader and be an influential member of my squad. I am a conscientious and dedicated student-athlete and I am working diligently to make my dreams come true. I currently have straight A's, am taking advanced placement classes and have been on the honor roll every year. I know I can achieve anything that I set my mind to. When you have passion like mine, soccer is not just a sport, it is a lifestyle.
