Jennifer West '14 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for your interest in my profile!!  I am 17 yrs old and have been playing soccer for 10 years. You will see in my video that I have worked hard to develop my skills and athleticism in soccer even without the availability of club teams in my rural AZ community. At Mohave High School, in Bullhead City, AZ, I have been a varsity soccer athlete for 3 years and ran varsity track for 4 years.  I actively volunteer for our local AYSO as a referee and kids coach during summer soccer camps.  Before high school I mostly played goal keeper with some time on the field as well.  As I became faster my skills were better used as a forward.  I feel this gives me a unique advantage in situations when I'm up against another keeper one on one in the box.  I am strong with both feet and not afraid to switch when necessary.

My goal is to continue playing soccer in college while studying Criminal Justice and someday becoming a detective.
