I have been a competitive athlete all my life. I started as a gymnast and competed all the way to optionals. I then started coxing at Miami Rowing Club when I was 12. Two years later I began rowing and was also a cheerleader for my school. I managed to do well in both sports and maintain my grades in school, while taking DE, honors, and A.P classes. During my third year of high school, I stopped cheerleading and realized I wanted to focus ultimately on rowing. This year is my seventh year rowing. Rowing and my academics is something I take very seriously. My goal is to continue competing in rowing throughout college, preferably in a division 1 school. I want to be apart of a team that will help me become the best rower and person I can be.
