Lacrosse has become a major part of my life. Where I live lacrosse is not a popular sport, due to this I have done all I can to grow the sport in my town by inviting girls to games and helping coach pick-up practices. I believe this dedication to the sport, not just to myself, sets me apart from many of the other players. To get the best education, I chose to take all college classes at the local college during my junior year and will continue to do so in my senior year. When I graduate from my high school I will have enough college credits to get my AA Degree. I chose to go to a different school than all of my friends during the final two years of high school because I want to have a strong education and college experience. A goal of mine is to play lacrosse at the college level in hope that I improve my ability and continue to play the sport I enjoy.
