Being the only freshmen starter on my high school varsity team was a great accomplishment for me. Getting the MVP award 2017 was even better as it confirmed that hard work pays off. I have learned in the past few years playing for my high school team that it is not all about winning, it is about improving; improving your skills and lacrosse IQ. What I have learned from this sport that also transitions into life and the real world is that the only way you can get better is to practice, train, get educated, study, and implement what you have learned.
Playing lacrosse in college will help me in my studies as well. I really love the sport as much as I love school. Doing both has helped me maintain a 4.04. When I'm in the field, I love shutting down offense and transitioning the ball for a goal. Nothing from the outside world can distract me on the field as I am focused. When I study, I focus on my studies, which is very important to me too.
I want to become a civil engineer. I know it take time and effort. Being a student athlete does take a lot of work but I am up to doing it and have done it for the past 3 years. I make sure that my school life is straight as a student so I will be able to be the best athlete. I am a well round student and athlete. I believe that I will be the best fit for your program. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
