I am a part of a group of girls that began the Keller, TX girls program as a sixth grader and brought it to its first varsity team in the spring of 2014 as a sophomore. We reached the state championship quarterfinal game that year! This year we went 12-2, and missed states by one game. I have been part of the transition from a newly formed team that lost countless games in our first year to a successful varsity team that competes in district and state playoffs today. I understand and have lived the stress of losing and the joy of winning, but no matter what the outcome of our game or season, I play with pride and treat my teammates and competitors with respect. I feel my pattern recognition for opposing team formations, aggressive play, hand speed, and field knowledge combined with experience in high school games as well as multiple select tournaments every year will make me an excellent goalie at the next level.
