Hello, my name is Jessica Morey and I play women's lacrosse. I have been playing lacrosse for as long as I can remember, actually 9 years, it's always been apart of me growing up. I am determined to play lacrosse my whole life and never let go of it. I have been dreaming ever since I was little to play lacrosse in college.
I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade for the Sycamore Aviators, I was the only 2nd grader on a 3rd and 4th grade team.Loveland didn't have a team at the time. I played for Sycamore up until 6th grade then I switched to Loveland's team and I have been playing for them ever since. The summer going into 9th grade I joined my first summer team, Velocity, it was a great experience getting out there and playing teams from all over the Midwest and East coast. The summer going into my sophomore year I played for the Cincy Royals on the U15 team. This summer I will be playing on a new Cincy Royals team called the high school elite team.
I am a very aggressive player and competitive person and that is what drives my determination to play in college. In a college, I am looking for a suburban or city environment with a great women's lacrosse program. I am willing to go out of state if I find a school that I am absolutely in love with. I want the college experience of playing my favorite sport while going to a great school. I am a very focused person in the classroom and on the field and it translates very well into my playing skills.
