Two sport athlete (lacrosse and hockey) driven to succeed in both athletics and academics -
I am a 5'7" left handed junior midfielder from Blaine, MN. I have started on the Blaine varsity girls lacrosse team since I was a freshman and have led my team to the state tournament as a sophomore. In addition to playing lacrosse, I am also a varsity left handed hockey player finishing second in the state tournament this past 2016-17 season.
My goal is to play Division 1 lacrosse, and become a doctor. My character is different from other recruits from the perspective that I try to make a difference in someone else's life each day. For example, I might provide a genuine compliment to a stranger or visit my Grandpa at his assisted living facility. I have exceptionally good grades and maintain a GPA above 4.0. I am also a member of the National Honor Society and continue to serve others as a volunteer. I am very driven in my sports and am willing to work hard in order to be the best that I can be. I am open to criticism and will do whatever it takes to improve. I am a leader and have great depth of character.
