I'd like to have a career in the medical field, mainly a physician's assistant. I started playing volleyball and lacrosse my freshman year of high school. I have more of a passion for lacrosse than volleyball, but I love to play both sports. This past year I got an injury preventing me from playing volleyball next year, but I've been talking to my coach about being the team manager. My freshman year, when I first started playing lacrosse I had just decided to play one day. I never expected to love it so much and want to continue playing through college. At the end of freshman year I got the most improved reward. My coach told me that I had worked hard for it and asked questions, I never thought about it as working though, I was just playing and having fun with my friends.
Academically I do well, especially in science. I love learning about biology and anatonmy which is why I think I would fit perfectly in the medical field. I've gotten rewards for having good grades in history before. I'm on my second year of child development currently, once I finish my fourth year I'll be certified to work in a daycare or preschool with young kids. I've also taken photography for two years. Most of my grades are high A's and B's. If I'm struggling in a class I'm going to do what ever I can to bring my grade up to at least a B.
