I have always loved challenges and trying new things. I took up Boys Box Lacrosse 8 years ago and Boys Club Field Lacrosse 3 years ago, as a goaltender, because there is no female field lacrosse in our entire province. I have never played a sport that I have enjoyed so much. I'm not afraid of the ball or learning new things. I have been told that I am very coachable. I love the game and I will do anything to be the best. It has been a challenge getting experience playing girl's lacrosse but I have been trying my hardest to excel in the sport any way that I can. Academically I feel the same way. I was at a a highly recommended school for Grade 10 but I chose to attend the most difficult and challenging school in our entire province for my last two years of high school. I don't believe in taking the easy way out. I don't necessarily have to play for the top schools but I want to play my best wherever I end up playing. I just want to play!
