I just completed my High School season. We ended up 15-6. Won our district but lost to Vero Beach in the regionals. For the year I had 30 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers, 4 interceptions, 7 draw controls, 6 goals on 6 shots and 2 assists. I will be attending the Tier One camp at Limestone College in June and will be playing in the Champions Cup and Capital Cup with ULAX Lacrosse out of Annapolis, MD in June and July. Highlight #2 is from the recent Presidents Cup, Orlando, November 2014. I will be playing in the Southern Showcase in Charlotte with ULAX Lacrosse from Annapolis, MD Jan 3-4, 2015. I am a hard working girl. I currently have a 3.2 GPA. I am very coachable and learn very quickly when shown something new. The location of the school is not as important to me as is the academics and my fit with the team for which I play. I wish to be able to play for a school and a team and help them grow their program and achieve the most success possible. I am not afraid to try new things and will volunteer for things when most will not. That is how I became the back up goalie for my high school team. Our All American goalie was injured and we had no one to fill in. I volunteered in my freshman year and now I am still the backup when needed. I have a 3-1 record as the back up in two years. The game I lost was by one goal against a top ten team here in Florida. I am a varsity soccer and lacrosse player for Martin County High school here in Stuart Florida. I am a defender and have been a defender since I started lacrosse 5 years ago. Although I do get to play other positions on occasion Defense is my forte'. I will be playing with my club team, Stickbenders, in the Presidents Cup at Disney's Wide World of Sports Nov 22-23, 2014 and I have been invited to play for the ULAX team out of Annapolis, MD, in the Southern Showcase in Charlotte, NC, Jan 3-4, 2015. I am also the backup goalkeeper on my high school team and have occasionally played goal for my club team, Stickbenders, in Vero Beach, FL.. I volunteer wherever I can to help coach younger kids to learn lacrosse and soccer. I have excellent field vision. I think this comes from playing soccer as well because I have to see how I am going to set up a play before I pass the ball. I use that vision in lacrosse to anticipate plays and defend the greatest threat as it approaches. I communicate very well on the field to my teammates so that we all can cover our goal and support our goaltender. College sports has always been a goal and a dream of mine and I am open to all opportunities.
