Jessica Russ '16 Recruiting Profile

Me as a Lacrosse Player: As an athlete, I am first and foremost committed to the team and our team’s vision. I strive to be the best athlete I can be. I am a facilitator. I take more pride in assisting others, then making sure I am the star player in the spotlight. I am our team’s biggest cheerleader and supporter. I am not the Michael Jordan of Women's Lacrosse, but I give a MJ work effort. My primary assets are my Speed and Quickness along with Defense. I will use all that I can possibly give to help our team win.
Me as a Student: I ask questions if I do not understand. I know my strong areas of learning and I know my weak areas of learning. I develop a level of communication with my teachers in that when I struggle or miss moments in our class we both figure out way to quickly catch me up. I push myself past my obvious potential to find how smart and capable I really am.
I hope to go to college and gain the most information possible. I, also, hope to go to college and experience the most I possibly can. I feel to be apart of a collegiate team would give me the best experiences and provide me with an ample amount of knowledge.
