Rachel Rice '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rachel Rice and I just turned 18 years old. I stand at a height of 5'3 and 3/4ths to be exact and weigh approximately 138lbs. The first time I watched the Winter Olympics and saw the women's hockey team compete, its been my dream to make it to that level. And, ever since I started playing hockey in 2006 I've been in love with the sport. I have the drive, disipline and desire to play on a collegic level and beyond. Unfortunately as a girl in Washington state, there isn't much opportunity to get on a outstanding team and get noticed. Even though I am the only girl on my team for 4 years now, I still have received captian, and assistant captian. I strive to be the best I can I be, and devot any spare time I have to perfecting my skills such as going to any free ice before I go to school in the morning and on the weekends. Also, I am open to any sort of college, big small, private or public!
