One of my main goals in college is to attain personal growth and to continue to overcome my weaknesses I still carry today. I aspire to pursue my studies in the field of Psychology and/or Architectural Engineering in an institution that embodies ambition and that will simply be a comfortable fit for me. I intend to be a constructive and progressive student to my future school, teachers, fellow classmates, and the community as a whole. In addition, I not only want to be a positive influence to my school, but also to my teammates and coaches whom I can build a continuing relationship even after college. Either if I am in the classroom or on the ice, I always attempt to challenge the trials of struggle I encounter and seek venture because I know these points will make an increment approach to who I aim to be. During my youth duration of playing in a male dominate hockey team, the experience had allowed me to gain endurance in mental strength and even accommodate to the rough physicality with the boys, but there was always a small feeling of inferiority and I lacked to recognize what it was like to have “real” teammates. Once I joined an all girls hockey team, I was exposed to a whole new system of experienced and skilled players and coaches where I made firm friendships and accountability. From my involvement in various teams, I find it an important aspect to create a bonding relationship with a team and coaches because they can make an impact to character development and affect the ability to contribute a dedicative heart.
