Ever since I stepped on the ice for the first time at 7 years old a wobbly first time skater I knew this game was going to change my life. And when I strapped on the pads and played my first game ever as a goalie for the house league team in my town I loved it. When i'm in the net I feel like i can always have my teams back and will do what it takes to stop the puck. Now as I lead my high school team as a captain in the net i'm constantly wanting to better my skills so I can show my leadership and athleticism on the ice. Improving my ability and taking my game to the college level and even higher is something I would love to do and I am willing to put in the work to get there. This includes keeping my grades up for my high school coach and college coaches looking at me. Combining my determination to better my game and the motivation to keep my grades up I believe that college hockey is definitely possible for me.
