I have played hockey for 10 years and have 5 years experience playing Boys travel hockey at a high level. My strengths are being a stay at home defense who can lead the rush with a pass or my feet. My hardest slap shot is 89 kph, my average is 74 kph. I am an elite skater and know how to position my body and prevent shots from the point and steer players to the corners. I'm excellent at clearing the front of the net and not allowing shots on net. I am as strong as many 18 year boys who play High school hockey who can not gain position in front of the net. In my year of AAA girls hockey I was able to shut down the top players from Mission, Honey Bake, Belle Tire "National Champs". I'm able to skate backwards as fast as many of the boys can skate forwards not allowing players to gain the corner on me.
Playing Girls Hockey I'm able to pressure the puck at all times and consistently skate through every team I have played. I prefer Center when playing girls so I can win the puck and lead the attack. I look to shoot but also like to set up passes to my teammates. If I get caught behind the play I have the ability to catch the puck carrier.
