Personal Statement

RMHS Division 1 Girls State Champions.  For the first time in our program our team finished No. 1 in the state and won the state finals March 15th at the TD Garden.  As captain I made sure we were ready to except the challenge to bring home a championship.  I have always been dedicated to my teammates both on and off the ice.  Although I rank athletics extremely high in my life, my academics are something I value highly as well.  I am a hard worker that will study hard and manage my time well.  Hockey has been a huge part of my life for 12 years now, and I've grown as a player with each coming season.   Whether it's a practice or a game, I give 110 percent effort towards every drill and shift.  I have a deep love and passion for the game that has brought me success in my high school hockey career.  Hockey doesn't stop for me after my season comes to an end my teammates and I work hard all year round because we are always looking to improve our game.  My main goal is to protect my goalie and defend our end and work hard with my teammates. The multiple coaches I have had over the years were very influential people who not only pushed me to succeed, but helped shape the aggressive defensive  player I am today.  I feel I would be a great asset to your team as I will work hard to improve each game, while taking honors and advanced placement courses I always strive to do better both on and off the ice.  I like to lead by example but also learn from others.  Thank you for your consideration.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
