I love hockey! I have been skating since I was 2 and have played organized hockey since I was 5 years old. Some of my earliest memories are shooting a puck on my backyard rink, & working hard at my skating & puck handling skills. Ever since I was young I have dreamed of playing high level hockey. Playing at a Division I college/university would be amazing and would allow me to improve my level of play even further.
I am a leader on my team. Once I set my mind to accomplishing something, I am hard to stop. I listen well to suggestions and advice from my coaches and from fellow teammates. I use that feedback to improve my game. I know that being coachable is a highly valuable asset. I am also very creative with the puck. My strengths are my ability to see the ice and make plays, along with very good hands around the net. Currently I am a grade 11 player for the St. Mary’s Academy Prep Hockey Team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is an Independent Hockey Canada Sport School. We compete in College Showcase tournaments and against AAA Midget Teams. To view some video highlights, visit

This September, my current team was entered in the Stoney Creek University Showcase Hockey Tournament in Hamilton, Ontario, (September 12-14, 2014 - U19). My line scored 18 points in 6 games. Personally, I scored six points with two goals and four assists in 6 games. Last season, we finished 2nd at the U-17 level of the Stoney Creek Midget Showcase. Recently, my team played in the AAA Midget Showcase in Morden, Manitoba. I scored 3 goals in 4 games. Our next major tournament was in Detroit, October 25th to 27th, called the 2 Nations College Prep Series. We played in the U19 division even though we only had three grade 12s on the roster and we won the championship, without a loss. I scored 3 points in 5 games.
As a grade 10 student last season, I was a rookie on the Flames and, although I saw limited ice time, I was able to score 15 points with 4 goals and 11 assists. This spring, I played 12 games with a AAA Midget team made up of mainly graduating players from local Prep teams. We played in the 2 Nations Female Hockey Spring League and I scored 12 points in 12 games, good enough to rank as the top point getter. As a returning player to the Flames, I am playing a larger role this season. So far, I have 15 points in 19 games and I am working hard and seeing time on both the powerplay and penalty kill.
I have many interests. At school, I am on the honour roll and am a dedicated student. I am bilingual, having had 9 years of French Immersion and 1 year of Advanced French. I am active on my school’s Special Events Committee and Athletics Committee. I am active in other sports as well. I play soccer at the premier level; forward for WSEU U-18 soccer team. I also volunteer coach on a youth boy’s soccer & hockey team. I love music and, although I don’t play much now, I took violin for many years and now play ukulele and some guitar. Although I am not yet sure what I wish to study at University, I am interested in maths and sciences, specifically Neuroscience.
Thank you and please contact me. I would love to speak about how I can contribute the success of your hockey team.
