My aspiration is to play hockey at a collegiate level, while obtaining a quality education toward my future career path. I love the sport of ice hockey, and want to challenge myself and become the best player I can be. I am a team player and would be an asset to any organization. My past and present coaches continually praise my actions both on and off the ice, and describe me as "extremely coachable". The position I most enjoy playing is center, because it gives me freedom to help my team both offensively and defensively.
I have a great work ethic on and off the ice. I give 100% at every practice and game. I was chosen Captain last year (2013-14 season) for the Lady Roughriders U-19AA team by my coaches, and I was chosen Co-Captain this year (2014-15 season) by my teammates, which makes me extremely proud and I consider it an honor. I take the leadership role that has been given to me seriously, and plan to be a positive influence on the team.
