Olivia "Livi" Crego '12 Recruiting Profile

Coaches, My name is Livi Crego and I am a student at Wauwatosa East high school. I have played on my schools golf team at the varsity level since my freshman year. I have been playing golf for many years through multiple clubs. All throughout my high school career I have taken part in the Junior golf program at Bluemound Golf and Country Club, I have taken private lessons there for many years as well. Through the program I have received the girls junior golf runner up award, as well as the girls junior golf runner up at the Wisconsin club. During my sophomore year at Wauwatosa East I also received the coaches award for most improved player, something that I found very rewarding and appreciated a great deal. Academics are an important part of find the right school, I am looking for somewhere I can major in elementary education. As for other aspects in my life I have been involved in the FBLA (future business leaders of America) program at my school. During my junior year my business ethics team and I were able to go to compete and the state level. At school I have been involved with Peers with impact, its a group of high school students who go to other schools in the district and talk to the students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol use. I have also been involved with Key club through school, as a group of students we do different community service projects throughout our city. Another way school has been able to enrich me as a person was when our schools choir was able to travel to New York city and go to a masters class there as well, it was a great experience for me. Through church I have been able to go on many mission trips. We have gone to Colorado and worked on a farm with recovering drug addicts; it was an inspirational trip and taught me a lot. Also went to North Carolina and worked with a program out there that helps inner city kids get a better education. Through my church I have been a part of the bell choir also. All throughout high school I have been working at my dads dental office after school. I also work as a party hostess at the Big Backyard; it�s an indoor playground where kids have birthday parties. I have always had a job and I think its important to exercise a good work ethic. I love working with the kids at the Big Backyard, which is what I think helped me realize that I wanted to major in elementary education. I am very open to different schools that I would be able to play golf, I am willing to travel and although I am a practicing Lutheran, a Christian school is not necessary. I hope that with this you were able to learn a little but more about me as a person and I am very excited about looking into all the different schools out there for me. Thank you Livi Crego
