Hannah Twietmeyer '16 Recruiting Profile

It has always been a personal goal of mine to play at the collegiate level as a student athlete. I was a 3 sport athelete up until my junior year, have dealt with all kinds of instructors, and in my experience consider myself to be very coachable. I played golf at a young age, but due to other sports decided not to continue it through middleschool and highschool. However, I made the personal choice to try out for the Cedarburg High School Girls Golf team my sophomore year, worked my way up to varsity, and was a primary contender for my team heading into regionals and sectionals. Junior year I achieved the All-NorthShore Conference status, and now starting off senior year I am one of the 2 team captains. My handicap is a 12.1 trending to an 11, and I am working to be in single digits by the end of this season. For me, my game is all about power and managing the course. The length in my shot comes from my height, and being 5'11 and 150lbs is certainly an adantage to my game. Managing the course compliments my length off the tee and with my irons, and my play is becoming more and more consistent. I have simply found the sport that I am most passionate about, and hope to take it to the college level and compete.
