Personal Statement

I have been playing competitive golf since I was 7, but started playing before that. I play in the St. George, Utah Junior Golf Association and the Utah PGA J.E.T. Tour. I have received two letters in golf to start my high school career and am looking to add two more to end my high school career. As a sophomore I placed 8th overall at state with a 10 over par to receive All-State honors. My junior year I placed fifth overall in region to make the All-Region team. My goal in golf is to play collegiate golf for an established program. I am very dedicated, organized, and can be depended on to be where I say I will be. I am goal-oriented and have been working hard to bring my scores down. I average an 83 for 18 holes but I am improving on that everyday. My personal 18 hole best is a three-over par 76.

I would like to pursue a career in the sports industry. I am working hard to graduate high school with an Honors diploma. I am on the High Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA, have had perfect attendance in high school, and have enrolled in honors, AP, and concurrent enrollment classes to challenge myself.

This is my 10th and final year playing in the JAG program.
2014 JAG St. George (Girls 14-17)
So far I have tied for first in Tournament #1 and placed first in Tournament #4, I will continue to update my standings as the season advances. I tied for second in tournament #5 and placed 5th in Tournament #6. Currently I am leading in Player of the Year points with two tournaments left to play.
2013 St. George Junior Association of Golfers (Girls 14-17)
JAG is the youth golf program in my town. We play 8 stroke play tournaments plus a matchplay and a Pro/Junior we get invited to for finishing top 8 in player of the year points. There are also Parent/Junior tournaments to have a fun time with our parents.
