To start, I play numerous sports including basketball, track, golf, and rodeo, but I have decided not to play basketball or run track this year to focus on my golf game. Therefore, I expect my scores to drop this season.
As a kid, I grew up with health problems that doctors said would cause me to not be able to participate in sports as a nine year-old. However, I recovered from those illnesses from countless hours of physical therapy, and proved to not only myself, but doctors, family, teachers, and friends who doubted me that I wouldn't recover. Anyways, I learned at a young age that being self-driven is one of the most important qualities an individual can have. Today, I am an extremely self-driven person who is healthy and a quick visual learner. I am also a very coachable athlete who would love the coaching that anyone is willing to offer to benefit my golf game.
I am excited about my future golf career and would love to have an amazing opportunity to play golf at college: an ultimate dream of mine. I'm a team-oriented, competitive, patient person who truly loves learning about the science behind golf, and I am looking forward to seeing what my future holds. I also expect to attend a college where I am pushed to excel on the golf course and in the classroom.
