Kennedy Wheeler '15 Recruiting Profile

     I am Kennedy Wheeler and I attend Lindale High School in Lindale, Texas. I am a 2014-2015 Senior. I started playing golf my freshman year and am still going strong! I aspire to be a collegiate athlete playing golf in college. I am 5'10" and weigh 145 pounds. I have a smooth and aggressive swing, and have accurate mental toughness. I am currently on the Lindale High School Varsity Golf Team.

     Freshman year I was number 2 out of the top 5 girls on the golf team. Sophomore year and till this current year I am the number 1 spot on the team! I have won many tournaments, with my best school golf score being an 81. My best overall low score is a 74.'s. I placed second in the Mid-Summer Open in Dallas, TX. I have also had my first hole-in-one this summer! I am dedicated to this game and I love this sport very much, even though it can be a struggle sometimes. I practice everyday and am determined to get better each day. My max drive is 300 yards. I am one of the longest distance hitters in my division, but distance isn't everything. It's all about hitting fairways and greens.

What makes me different about other college-bound athletes is that I am very dedicated to my school work. I am a honor roll student. I am also in student council and the National Honor Society. I would like to go into the Dental Hygiene or Pharmacy field as a career.
