My passion is golf. My freshmen year in high school I decided my dream was to play at the college level, and put all other sports aside to concentrate and focus on golf. I put in many hours a week of practice and dedication to making my golf game better. If the weather is bad and does not allow me to be on the coarse, I have a personal setup indoors to keep working on my swings. I believe my work ethic will be a good asset to a college golf team.
My academic success is also very important to me as well as my character. I believe my decisions and choices on the coarse and off the coarse will help me to be a successful college athlete and student. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and work very hard to keep my grades up. My strong points are math and science classes, which I believe will be very useful in my career path of being a pediatrician. I received one of six awards for character in my school last year. I believe that character and good decisions will be key in being successful.
